Marek Novak is an award winning bartender with career background within the bar industry which spans across Prague, London and Oslo. He has previously worked in some of the world’s most prestigious establishments, where he has proven his never ending drive for perfection, five star service, and warming hospitality. Over the years, he has gained a wide range of experience in managing and leading bar roles within five star hotels, ultra luxury private members clubs, both fine dining and casual restaurants, and independent bars. Four years ago, he moved from London to Oslo, Norway, to be part of the opening team and work as a bar manager at “Svanen Cocktail Bar”, which has been awarded and listed as the best new cocktail bar in Norway in 2019 (by Bartender Choice Awards 2019) and mentioned on the list "Best New Cocktail Bars in the World 2020" (by Condé Nast Traveller 2020). Currently, he is working as an Executive Bar Manager at "The Grand Hotel Oslo" (Othilia Bar and Eight Rooftop Bar).
