These terms apply to your use of novakmarek.com. By using the site you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Who runs this site

The site is operated by MAREK NOVAK CONSULTANCY, a Norwegian sole proprietorship owned by Marek Novak, org. no. 926 782 177 MVA. Full details are in the Legal notice.

2. What the site is for

The site presents Marek Novak’s professional background and services. Nothing on it is a binding offer. Any engagement (consultancy, menu development, courses, events or other work) is agreed separately in writing, and those agreed terms apply to it.

3. Intellectual property

Texts, photographs, videos, designs and the site’s code are protected by copyright and belong to Marek Novak or to their respective rights holders. You may view the site and share links to it. You may not copy, republish, modify or use its content commercially without written permission. Quoting short passages with a source reference is allowed where the law permits it.

Names of competitions, brands, venues and publications mentioned on the site are trademarks or names of their respective owners. They are used only to describe awards, roles and achievements factually. Their use does not mean that any owner sponsors, endorses or is affiliated with this site.

4. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site: no attempts to break or overload it, bypass its security, send spam or harmful content through the contact form, or collect data from it by automated means in a way that burdens the service. Normal indexing by search engines is welcome.

5. Responsible enjoyment

The site is about the hospitality and bar profession and is intended for adults. It does not encourage drinking alcohol. If you drink, please do so responsibly and only if you are of legal drinking age where you live.

6. Information only

Content is general information about Marek Novak’s experience and services. It is not professional advice for your specific situation. We keep the site accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that everything is complete or current at all times.

The site links to other websites (for example venues, award organisers and social networks). We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes go to the ordinary courts of Norway. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules and the courts of the country where you live.
